GraalEditor is a program, separate from the Graal client, with which levels and NPCs can be created and tested. Additionally, it can be used to generate maps (including mini-map and big map images). GraalEditor itself is now no longer available for download without using the Graal client. Instead, developers must download the program via the package manager on the login servers.
Maintenance on GraalEditor has been discontinued. Therefore, there it is not expected that support for new GraalScript or tile layers will be added. Because of this, the use of GraalEditor is being phased out in favor of a scripted tools or the open-source project Gonstruct. Unfortunately, the tools required for creating a GUI-based level editor that is akin to GraalEditor are lacking (but are being worked on), and so development has been slow.
